April 27, 2010

The Westin St. Francis (at Union Square)

" It had such a great feel from beginning to end."

" Wow, what a showing of support. Everything was beautifully done from ... the heart-warming speech to the incredible supporters that filled the room to overflowing."

" as supporters hungry for a big bold goal to inspire, energize, and extend the reach of the organization to make an even bigger difference… You did an awesome job with the event. We've come a long way, baby."

" The event made me feel very proud to be a part of the Habitat team."

" I so enjoyed so many good friends that I had not seen in such a long time. What a fabulous group you are working with to assure that miracles do happen."

These were just some of the remarks from guests who attended the sold out event on April 27 to celebrate Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco's 20 years of building homes and hope, and its goal to serve 100 more families by 2013.

Nearly 700 guests watched the premier of Habitat's newest family video and raised their glasses to toast the evening's honorees, each presented with an award by a Habitat partner family.
