About Neighborhood Revitalization (NR)
Habitat Greater San Francisco’s Neighborhood Revitalization program aims to extend the work of Habitat for Humanity into the neighborhoods where we build – beautifying parks and gardens, renovating community assets like schools and community centers and delivering critical home repairs to improve the health, safety and well-being of residents in our two focus neighborhoods: the Bayview and East Palo Alto.

Home Repair services
Owning a home leads to stability and opportunity for hard-working families and we recognize that many of the same benefits come from keeping existing homeowners in their homes. NR home repair projects are generally limited to minor exterior work that addresses concerns around safety and accessibility. Past projects have included staircase, garage door, fence, and deck reconstruction and siding, roofing, and painting repairs.
Does your home need repairs? We currently offer home repairs in the city of East Palo Alto (94303) and San Francisco’s Bayview (94124) neighborhood. In order to apply, applicants must own their home, be current on mortgage, property taxes, and homeowners insurance payments, and meet our income qualifications, listed below.

For Bayview home repairs, fill out this form or contact our Home Repairs services team – firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-625-1036. For East Palo Alto home repairs, visit our partner Rebuilding Together Peninsula for more information on how to apply.
Habitat Greater San Francisco’s NR program makes renovations to vital community assets like community centers, schools, and youth clinics to ensure that everyone can get access to services they need.
We also strive to beautify and expand community parks and gardens to make them cleaner, safer and more accessible for everyone. We partner with San Francisco Rec and Parks Department, community members, volunteer groups, and facilities to support community needs through repairs, park clean-ups and community garden projects.
