WE BUILD GREEN

We build our homes using sustainable materials and building techniques, with the goal of reducing both homeowners' monthly utility bills and environmental impacts on our communities. Our construction staff works closely with a green building consultant who helps ensure our green building goals are met. Habitat GSF also partners with GRID Alternatives and PG&E, who combine to offer energy generating solar panels on our developments to help further reduce our communities' burden on the electric grid. All new Habitat GSF developments are GreenPoint Rated through the loacl green building organization, Build It Green.

Did we mention that we were the winner of the 2011 Green Building Award from Sustainable San Mateo County?
